After an afternoon of biking and a trip to Yamada Denki (the tech store here), we had dinner in an udon place recommended by O-san (who joined us too). It's a self-serve restaurant; I took these photos while we were in line (the place was almost full) for our turn at the counter.
I love open kitchens!
